11. You register for the real estate tax After your ownership is recorded in the cadastre, you are required to file a real estate tax return — once, by January 31 of the following year. It is filed at the regional tax office according to the property location, or electronically via the Moje daně portal. In subsequent years, you will automatically receive a payment notice. The tax is due by May 31. |
